Gloucestershire street named UK's most romantic

Copse Hill Road in Lower Slaughter, Gloucestershire has been named as the most romantic street in Britain in a poll for Google Street View.

The hippest street award went to South Shore Road in Gateshead while Bondgate Within in Alnwick, Northumberland was best shopping street.

Over 20,000 people voted last month on a shortlist drawn up by a panel of travel, shopping and lifestyle experts.

For the most romantic street, the panel were looking for such features as beautiful architecture, stunning views, a romantic ambience, secluded getaways, restaurants/hotels and street lighting.
